The application of UV ink in the printing of Chinese stamps
the stamp "Guqin and Piano" issued on September 26, 2006 uses UV ink on the area where the piano body is located. The matte background makes the high gloss piano body more prominent and produces wonderful artistic effects. This is the third time that UV oil ink has been used on Chinese stamps. UV ink was first used in the commemorative postage envelope of if80 "2006 International Year to combat desertification" issued on June 17, 2006, which contains the bright ink with traditional gloss effect and the ink with granular effect. The silk printing method used on the self-adhesive small version of "Olympic project (I)" released not long ago has a thick and convex ink layer, which is also UV ink, and it is dried under UV light
uv (ultraviolet ravs) ink refers to the ink that is irradiated by UV light, cross-linked polymerization reaction occurs, and instantly solidified. It can be printed on the surface of non absorbent substrate. After UV ink curing, the uneven paper surface is filled, so that the gloss of the covered part is much higher than that of normal prints, and it has good friction resistance, solvent resistance, heat resistance, and produces a unique visual effect, It looks elegant, solemn and luxurious. It can improve the grade of products and is widely used in packaging and printing. UV inks include special packaging inks such as frosting, icing, foaming, wrinkles, embossing, refraction, gemstones, light fixing ink, glazing oil and so on. They are mainly used in the packaging and printing of high-end, exquisite and unique cigarettes, wines, cosmetics, health products, food and so on. UV ink has long been used in some high-end mailing lists and commemorative covers. The particle 7.5.1 size deviation and appearance quality of jf80 "2006 International Year to combat desertification" are the "credit" of the special ink
Guqin and piano is another set of stamps printed by ultra multicolor offset after chicken blood lithography in 2004. However, UV ink did not appear in the color code. This is because UV oil (SLA) 3D printing technology, the printing method of printing forming ink is very different from offset printing. UV ink belongs to post-processing of printing. The current UV unit can be linked with the printing unit to complete printing at one time. This can speed up the printing efficiency and greatly reduce the scrap rate for stamps, which need high-precision registration. UV ink is usually transferred to the substrate by silk printing or flexo printing. The two sets of stamps with UV ink produced by Beijing Stamp factory are printed by silk. If80 "20 (6) International Year to combat desertification" used two UV inks to complete the overprint process. Careful philatelists can see that the overprint of some envelopes with two inks is not very accurate
the smooth UV ink surface can be easily erased even after the postmark is stamped. Fortunately, the area is small, and it is in the center of the stamp, which has little impact on the sales. It can be seen that the application of UV ink in stamps is still very limited
